Michael Zarocostas practices in complex commercial and business litigation, arbitration, partnership and corporate disputes, labor, breach of contract, fraud, securities regulation, and appellate practice before state and federal courts.
Previously, Michael was a litigator in the New York office of Skadden, Arps for five years where he handled a variety of complex securities, corporate, business, accounting, and insurance litigations as well as investigations, international mediations, and regulatory matters. Prior to that, Michael served as a federal law clerk to Judge Eugene E. Siler, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit where he earned the Distinguished Service Award.
In addition to his business and commercial practice, Michael has significant experience in representing clients in serious tort or personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accident and inadequate security/premises liability cases. Michael was the lead attorney in a case for a client who won a motion for summary judgment on liability in an inadequate security/premises liability claim. The victory was affirmed on appeal and resulted in a significant settlement for the firm’s client.
